Brilliant day today!! :-) Slightly draining though... I'm gonna need some proper sleep tonight if I'm to make the most of tomorrow!
Killian and I had lunch in the bagel place as my mum was entertaining her closest peeps with a home-made spread today! We had an amazing time ? I can't think of a better word. Shame on me... Ah it was funny, it was light-hearted, it was comfortable in the best possible way.. Yeah, good times!
When I got home I climbed into bed with lots of hot water bottles and started tackling all the greens work that had built up over the past few days including sorting out room bookings, writing several hundred emails, phone-calls...ya know, riveting stuff...but I got through it fairly painlessly.
Then I got distracted by Judge Judy (shame on me again!) or more specifically by one of the defendant's hair! It was a brilliant shade of electric blue. The exact shade I want my hair to be..
Anyway...after 5 minutes of admiring her hair, I decided to venture downstairs and tuck into the left-overs of yesterdays yummy mother's day/engagement celebration dinner! Smart move that turned out to be! :-)
At 8.30 I braved the outdoors to attend the Dublin Mid-West Greens meeting! It was epic...
I couldn't possibly divulge any of the details of it but it was inspiring indeed.
I'm doing a few hours in the constituency office this week to help Paul out as Billy is in hospital.
My thoughts are with Billy Gogarty at this challenging time. He is a great man and an extremely hard worker. I'm looking forward to seeing him again at a DMW meeting very soon.
I'm going to head to bed now to let all the greens info I've absorbed tonight digest :-)
I'll end with a link to one of the funniest Will Ferrel clips of all time...and a very appropriate one at that!
